We are the RSPCA and it's our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Our volunteers are incredible, they play an essential role in helping us carry out our important animal welfare work every day.

Much of our direct animal welfare work is carried out through our branches. These separately registered charities across England and Wales are run by volunteers who are unstinting in their work for animal welfare.

This volunteer opportunity is provided by the RSPCA Sunderland, Hartlepool & South Tyneside branch, which is a separate registered charity to the RSPCA National Society.

We are looking for volunteers who are as passionate as we are about animal welfare to educate and inspire others on how to care for animals and prevent cruelty.

Our Branch Education volunteers assist in creating and delivering animal welfare themed courses and events for adults and children. These are vital courses which play a significant part in educating the public on how to care for animals to improve their welfare and help prevent cruelty to animals.
