Dog Fosterer (Felledge Animal Centre)

Do you have a passion for dogs? Are you calm, patient and understanding?

Sadly, many of the dogs in our care have never experienced life in a loving, family home. As a dog fosterer you will play a vital role in looking after a dog until they find a new permanent home. Please note, applicants should ideally live within 10 miles of the Animal Centre.

You'll be fostering a dogs in your own home and ensuring their welfare needs are met by feeding, walking, grooming and playing with the. The care and interaction you'll provide will help the dog in your care develop the socialisation skills which can aid a successful rehoming.

You’ll meet new people in this role and have the support of our staff on hand should you need it. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the welfare of dogs, especially as some don't take to well to life in kennels and benefit from time in a loving foster home. It is also something unique to add to your CV.
