Charity Shop Volunteer (Selby)

We are the RSPCA and it's our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Our volunteers are incredible, they play an essential role in helping us carry out our important animal welfare work every day.

Much of our direct animal welfare work is carried out through our branches. These separately registered charities across England and Wales are run by volunteers who are unstinting in their work for animal welfare.

Our shops play a vital role in raising the profile of the RSPCA in the local community and raising funds for local branches so that we can continue our important animal welfare work. Our shops sell a mixture of donated items including clothes, books, bric-a-brac and collectibles, and a selection of new items.

We are looking for shop floor assistants to work on the till serving customers in our busy Selby town center shop. You will get training on how to use the till including handling money and security. Our till systems are really easy to use and you don't need any previous experience to take on this role.

We are also looking for stock room assistants to help with sorting donations and preparing stock for the shop floor. You will gain valuable skills, make new friends and help to raise money for our RSPCA animal home in York.
