Volunteer RSPCA Van Driver (West Hatch - Non Animal Transportation)
Do you wish to be a driving force (literally!) in helping RSPCA West Hatch Animal and Wildlife Centre? Do you wish to help make a difference? Do you enjoy driving and are happy to give up a couple of hours regularly? Then this role may be for you.
If you have a valid driving licence then why not support the vital work of our centre by helping to transport items for us to aid our daily operations. This role does not include transporting animals, but involves tasks like: picking up animal feed from various stores; taking items to the tip; delivering items to RSPCA charity shops , taking equipment to be fixed, and more! You will be driving an RSPCA vehicle, so various driving checks will need to be carried out in advance and again periodically. You may, on occasions, be asked if you can transport items a longer distance than just within the local area.
Our volunteer drivers get to meet lots of different RSPCA staff and volunteers, and other professionals. You’ll also get a buzz by knowing your actions are helping animals.
So if you’ve got the drive to volunteer with the RSPCA, click ‘apply’ below and tell us more about you.
