Branch Trustee - Fundraising (remote)
Can we trust in you?
If you love animals, and have some time on your hands, you could join us as a volunteer Trustee Fundraiser for the Essex South West Branch of the RSPCA.
Lockdown restrictions and rises in the cost of living have had a huge impact on our income. Fundraising is a major priority if we are to continue caring for vulnerable animals in our area.
We’re now looking for volunteer Fundraising Trustees to help steer our fundraising strategy going forward.
The role will include:
- Identifying and evaluating fund-raising opportunities
- Leading fund-raising activities
- Developing partnerships with local businesses, schools and communities
- Applying for grants
- Overseeing and developing the Branch’s social media presence.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Energy, passion and imagination
- A deep commitment to animal welfare
- An authentic, inspiring and convincing presence.
- Patience, perseverance and confidence
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Imagination and flexibility
- The ability to make things happen.
It’s a great way to meet people who share your enthusiasm and passion for animal welfare. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain valuable Board experience, shape local strategy, and most importantly make a real difference to the lives of animals.
If you are interested in this amazing opportunity, and can commit to a couple of hours per week, register your interest at info@rspcaessexsouthwest.org.uk.
