Overview of the opportunity
As a Fundraising, Events & Volunteer Coordinator volunteer, you will be helping the branch raise funds for local animals in need by recruiting and coordinating volunteers, taking part in branch events planning, helping to run stalls, selling merchandise and monitor events activities. You will have fun meeting new people, helping to recruit new volunteers and organising and attending local events.
The RSPCA Sunderland, Hartlepool & South Tyneside Branch
The Sunderland, Hartlepool & South Tyneside Branch is one of the branches of RSPCA, but we are also a separately registered charity looking after animals in our local area. Much of the animal welfare work of RSPCA is carried out through local branches, which are run by volunteers who have the support of the National Society of RSPCA.
We are a creative, welcoming and progressive team of pet owners, animal lovers, and all-around lovely folk. We aim to be more present in our local community, to get to know fellow pet owners and supporters of animal welfare, and to offer the opportunity for our community to get to know us and what we're all about. If there are new, fun, unique, inspiring and/or engaging ways to raise funds for local animals in need, we will find them and do everything we can to make it happen.
