Volunteer Digital Content Developer (Digital Content Developer Volunteer)
We are looking for a creative and passionate Digital Content Developer to join our team in crafting engaging rehoming profiles for our resident animals. In this role, you'll read through detailed animal assessments and transform them into compelling profiles that highlight each animal's unique personality, increasing their chances of finding a forever home. Your work will help potential adopters form a connection with the animals before they even visit.
As a Digital Content Developer, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated animal centre staff, who know the animals intimately and can provide valuable insights into their individual quirks and traits. Together, you'll create profiles that truly reflect the animals' characters.
While this role doesn't involve much direct interaction with the animals, it is essential in helping them find new homes. You may also have the opportunity to take updated photos of the animals to accompany their profiles. Strong written English skills are essential for this volunteer position.
By joining us, you’ll gain valuable insight into one of the UK’s most renowned charities, while using your skills to make a real difference in the lives of animals. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your expertise, expand your professional network, and add a unique experience in the charitable sector to your CV.
We celebrate and respect the diversity of our RSPCA team, valuing the individual qualities, skills, and experiences that everyone brings. To ensure your safety and support your wellbeing, we’ll provide all necessary training for your role and ask you to keep it up to date. We also offer a range of wellbeing resources and can make reasonable adjustments to support you in your volunteering.
