Animal Care Assistant - one weekday morning per week 8.30am -1pm

Many of the cats in our care have never experienced life in a loving home. Whilst they wait for that special someone who can give them a second chance, we work tirelessley to ensure that all aspects of their care are carried out to a high standard.

This is a new role that we've introduced where you’ll be working as part of the team in our cattery during the morning, which involves mainly cleaning, so can be quite physical. We aim to provide you with all the training to become proficient in all aspects of cattery care within a rescue centre. We are looking for some experience and knowledge of the behaviours of cats, however we’ll provide you with full training. We’re looking for someone who can commit to volunteering with the RSPCA on a weekly basis, with the intention of staying involved over the longer term.
